RKPR, working on behalf of Artown<\/a>,\u00a0took home multiple awards from the Silver Spike Awards Reception<\/a> presented by the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Four awards recognized the team for innovative and successful public relations and community outreach initiatives implemented in the past year.<\/p>\n

We were honored with the top prize, Silver Spike Awards, for the Artown Mobile Application<\/a> and community outreach for the Give $3 to Keep Artown Free<\/a> program, produced in collaboration with Artown and Powell Promotions. We also received a Students Choice Award for the Give $3 program, awarded by public relations students at the University of Nevada, Reno.<\/p>\n

Last, Artown\u2019s social networking program, which includes Facebook<\/a>,\u00a0Twitter<\/a>,\u00a0Flickr<\/a>,\u00a0YouTube<\/a> and a blog<\/a>,\u00a0earned an Award of Excellence. Each of these programs are \u00a0important to Artown\u2019s success in 2010 and we\u2019re thrilled that we\u2019ve earned such amazing recognition.<\/p>\n
